Sumpter Elementary School Details

• Sumpter is a kindergarten through fifth-grade school with an enrollment that averages around 550 students.

• Sumpter was named after Mabel P. Sumpter, a long-time teacher in the district. She was principal at Hoover Elementary in 1952. The sign in front of the school reads “Mabel P. Sumpter Community School.”
