Hello Sumpter Community,

This Friday, September 25 is Sumpter’s 1st supply distribution day and it will include handing out packets to our kinder- 5th grade students! All families will need to come to the Sumpter to pick up their children’s folders in the back-parking area by the gym.

Future Friday Distribution Day Information:

Kinder-2nd Grade-

Sumpter staff have set up a weekly distribution system on Friday’s for our kinder- 2nd grade students to pick up a folder full of resources that connect with the lessons they will experience in the coming week, as well as to drop off work that students have done at home for teachers to assess.

 

3rd-5th Grade-

Our 3rd-5th grade teachers will use this Friday distribution system less regularly. These teachers will communicate with students and their families prior to when there is a folder of resources to collect, as well as when work needs to be returned to school.

 Directions:

  1. Pull into the back driveway along the curb by the gym.
  2. Stay in your vehicles.
  3. If you still have your “family name sign” to hang on your vehicle’s visor, please do so.  If you do not have one, the IA will provide you with one for future distribution days.
  4. The IA will approach your vehicle with your children’s folders if they can see your visor sign.  The IA will approach your car to ask for your family name to get your children’s folders if there is not a visor sign.  The IA will have a bin for you to place your children’s return work folder beginning next Friday, Oct 2.
  5. Please try to follow the established pick up & drop off times that have been scheduled alphabetically by last names if possible. However, no one will be turned away if they need to show up outside of their established time, and we certainly hope not all try to use the 5:00-5:30 time-period. After the first distribution, our staff will evaluate if this schedule needs adjusting based on traffic flow on Sept 25! We thank you for your patience as we chart new territory.

 

8:15-9:00 Families with last names beginning with A-J

3:00-4:00 Families with last names beginning with K-S

4:00-5:00 Families with last names beginning with T-Z

5:00-5:30 Families who were not able to make it earlier in the day.
